THERMAL RATED

Standard refrigerated CoolBox Body wall panels are 100 mm thick to insulate down to -25 degrees Celsius with a thermal efficiency rating K value of 0.28

For chilling only, these can be reduced to 75mm or down to 25mm thick for the ambient non-refrigerated vehicles

These panels provide the strength of construction and ensure thermal efficiency to keep the load at the required temperature.

FOOD GRADE MATERIALS

The 2 sides of the polyurethane foam insulation are sandwiched between 2 layers of FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic). This provides a food grade, smooth, easy to clean surface, impervious to dirt or any liquid spills and ready for company sign writing and branding.

FLOOR CONSTRUCTION

In both the refrigerated and freezer type cold boxes, the floor is 100 mm thick and designed to withstand the rigors of loading stock on pallets and goods being moved about on the floor.

The bottom layer of the floor is FRP sheet to protect the layer of PU foam from damage from below and the top is protected by a double layer of marine ply and aluminium checker plate, all sandwiched and glued together using the same top quality adhesives as used on the side and roof panels.

BOX CONSTRUCTION

All panel to panel joints are completed using aluminium extrusions to provide rigidity and strength and top quality PU adhesives and antifungal sealants formulated to withstand the temperature variations experienced.
